Academic project
This interactive web experience is a proposal for the exhibition “Norte Silvestre e Agreste”, originally held at Galeria Municipal do Porto. The digital archive investigates the friction between cyber time and human patience by testing the relationship between digital space and exhibition sonority. Throughout the interface, users are invited to select a specific duration to spend within each section. Once a chronological decision is made, the choice is irreversible, disrupting typical web navigation and testing the user's patience within a designated duration.
By associating silence with stillness and sound with interaction and movement, the system transforms a traditional exhibition archive into an active, sensory soundscape.
Developed as an academic exercise during my studies at ESAD Matosinhos. All credit for the sound design belongs to the respective exhibiting artists.
